Zubaan depicts a young man who searches for the real values in life and his true self. Born to a poor Punjab family, Dilsher moves to the big city in hopes of success. He pays a visit to the corporate head Gurcharan Sikand, who he met as a child, and starts working for him. Dilsher gains Gurcharan’s trust but is belittled by Gurcharan’s son and wife. He then becomes close to Amira, a singer traumatized by her brother’s death. After much awaited success, Dilsher suddenly questions life’s important values under the mental influence and legacy of his father and music. Now, what decision will Dilsher make?
