片子的改编只能说尚好，穆雷后来在军团里的功绩完全没有提及，结尾时候莫名其妙就成了中士，他和他唯一的妻子詹尼佛的关系也缺乏描述，在开头只说她和高负帅结婚了，结尾就莫名其妙以亲密恋人的身份出现了。 给四星只是因为西蒙穆雷的书写了太好了。
