the Pretender 2001 Premieres January 22, 2001!
　　THE PRETENDER 2001 World Premiere movie stars Michael T. Weiss as Jarod, a virtuous genius whose exceptional intelligence allows him to master any profession. He uses this skill to help people who can't help themselves, despite being stalked by agents (played by Andrea Parker, Patrick Bauchau and Jon Gries) of a clandestine research complex known as The Centre.
　　THE PRETENDER 2001 blends contemporary storytelling with deeper explorations into the show's mythology. The movie will pick up where the series left off, while also taking viewers back in time to see how Jarod originally escaped from The Centre. The movie will close the door on some unanswered questions and open the door to new mysteries.
　　Turner Network Television (TNT) will premiere the full-length world premiere movie THE PRETENDER 2001, on Monday, Jan. 22, 2001, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT).
