Filmmakers Barbara Hammer, Su Friedrich, Rose Troche, Cheryl Dunye, Yoruba Richen, Desiree Akhavan, Vicky Du, film critic B. Ruby Rich, Jenni Olson, and others share moving and often hilarious stories from their lives and discuss how they've expressed queer identity through film.

#CinemaQueer18 不仅是关于lesbianism, gender, political activism, feminist film theory, 更打动我的是拍出了每个被采访者心底的迷影情结 在银幕上看到那个与自己相符的人就会意识到自己并不特殊与孤独 她们被启发与点燃的瞬间是电影依然伟大的原因之一

lesbian电影史里程碑式的回溯。有点羡慕生得早的先锋之余也对于现在身处环境的开放包容和风格越来越多元的酷儿电影感到幸运。2000年之后的部分一路飙泪，提及的电影看过大半，奠定了自己的少年时期和自我认同。也知道了这种孤独和彷徨大家都经历过，共同拥有这些来自电影的启蒙，或者被激励然后投身电影。回头看再次意识到酷儿电影比自己想象中的还要重要很多。及至今年可以亲身参与酷儿电影节，可以跟人分享讨论，真是很幸福啊。
