Bear biologist Lynn Rogers has devoted nearly forty years of his life to understanding the black bears of Minnesota's North Woods. He has developed a unique relationship with them over time. 諷刺的是被人類用來克服恐懼的那隻溫順的熊最後被獵殺了。曾經狩獵期長達52周，經過愛護自然動物的人的不斷努力，縮減至6周。52周的話，幾乎是全年都可以肆意獵殺黑熊，珍素泰可怕勒！
