6、7世纪的爱尔兰基督教实质是一种先进的生产方式，以修道院为中心形成一个个 小小的科技中心、文化中心。但令我想不通的是科伦巴成功传教给皮克特人这一段，《圣徒传》上说的种种神迹肯定是虚构的了，这些传教士究竟是用什么说服了一个有异教传统的社会呢？无论如何他们绝对是公关领域的伟大先驱了。
