中国开封龙亭的正南门古称午门，现今亦称午朝门。因历史久远，午朝门广场成了不少人心目中的神灵之地。每天都有各色人等在广场上进行着不同于一般观光客的活动。他们或走功（敬神修炼）、或倾诉、或表演，带着各自的生活背景和故事，在这里碰撞。午朝门是他们的精神出口和寄托所在。
Wuchao Gate is the south gate of the Dragon Pavilion,Kaifeng, Central China. It was also the gate of imperial palace of Song Dynasty. For many people, the square is a holy place. Every day, especially on traditional festivals, various of people gather in the square. With different stories and backgrounds, they worship god, pour out dissatisfaction and give improvisational performance. This place is their spiritual sustenance and outlet.

一个信息：CIFF上导演讲到片子里那个“杨家将传人”只要一走出开封广场就变得和正常人一样，一进入广场就开启另一种模式。所以，到底是为什么。。

神經病與公共空間的可能性。（批鬥）話語、歌曲在後文革電影的某種虛妄性。太超現實了！聽了一堆人老心不老的「紅色老年」演唱偉大領袖歌曲…諸天神佛將相上身的術士神諭…底層人民對世界局勢品頭論足、對強國未來信心爆表…而收尾濃濃迷霧與片中多次穿插的孤單身影，無須言語地揭示這才是現實。
