這是一個關於一群拾荒者在北京的故事，他們試圖從被廢棄物包圍的城市中尋找自己的生活。距離鳥巢國家體育場三公里外，是與城市風景截然不同的樣貌：約三萬多來自河南的移民住在那裏，透過手機和賣廢品為生。而在2015年，「廢城」即將被拆除…

3 km away from the Nestle, National Stadium, there is a place completely different from the urban scenery. About 30,000 migrants from Henan province live here and make a living by collecting and selling waste.
Xu came to the ‘waste city’ 20years ago. He began as a construction worker, but now he is a millionaire. Liu came here 10years ago, he and his family collect and sell the used wood. The Wang sisters, 10 years old, daughters of freight yard workers, They were born in waste city and grow up here……In 2013, the waste city is going to be demolished…"

农村中产 回不去的农村，留不下的城市，农村被城市搞得筋疲力尽，残败不堪，可见的回报却极其微薄，城市真是那丧尽天良的白嫖客...甚至转头一击搞拆迁... 主题很好，但或许正是太多值得涉及的内容增加了片子编辑难度，导致结构散乱，内容浮光掠影，深度延展力不够等致命问题.....

永远只想着消费创收再创收，消费后的废品往哪去？简单粗暴地一句“拆了”，就等着用这块地做更多可以创收的事，让这些废品，这些人何去何从？什么时候才能不这么短视？

有关东小口外地打工者的故事，题材非常好，很有人文情怀，但拍摄技巧方面还有很多需要改进之处，讲故事的线索也不太清晰
